Equinox, Balance, Death/Life

A couple of people have posted tonight about the death of someone they knew (not at all related to each other).
I’ve been wrapped up in my life and my thoughts. The reminder that there are other people out there, living, dying, “being” was a reminder that I needed.
16 years ago today there was a new beginning. It’s since ended. But to pay no heed to what this day once meant seems wrong.
I float off to bed in rivulets of tears. It’s ok though. For me there is another day ahead.
