Yay, Me!
This morning my heart sunk as some warning lights came up on the car dashboard. I remained calm, took it to the shop we usually take it to and they were able to fix the issue quickly and inexpensively.
I appreciated that the service manager didn’t take a condescending tone because I’m female (and showed me the part that needed to be replaced and explained why)
I was proud of myself...
Ordering my Chaos
I’m sure you’ll all be thrilled to know that Staples delivered my stuff yesterday and thus, the day was saved, my desk is no longer a disaster and life goes on.
Now to decide which task on my mile long “to-do” list gets tackled today!
Impatiently waiting...
Allegedly, Staples is supposed to deliver my stuff today. Meanwhile, my desk is a disaster and my productivity is minimal.
I know it’s idiocy to be so off-put by something like office supplies, but if my desk is in chaos, so is my mind and that makes things much more difficult than they need to be.
It’s starting to feel more like “my space” at work, though. So, huzzah...
Disorganized and Uneasy
I was expecting Staples to deliver some things to the office today that I need to get my desk under control. We have VIPs in the next couple of days so things CANNOT be chaos.
Staples, however, did not show up. So I shoved all of the things that WERE on my desk (awaiting new organizers) into a file drawer. Not “professional” but way better than having my desk look like a bomb went...
So much to do....
I have so much to do today that I am sitting at my computer doing nothing.
Except posting on Tumblr. Which is something but is not helping me accomplish what I need to get done today.
Unless updating Tumblr two days in a row is something I wanted to accomplish today, which it was…
I obviously need to go take a nap.
Not too late (I think...)
It’s still 1/1/11 which means I am not too late to have one post in a row in the New Year (hey! Gotta start SOMEWHERE, right?)

Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve been here. (months…yikes!)
The good news is that I got a job.
I’m spending today cleaning my apartment.
And someone in an office in Olmsted County has become the bane of my existence.

Equinox, Balance, Death/Life
